I went together with my parents searching for the landscapes of their childhood. My father’s childhood home is still in Lapinlahti and inhabited by relatives.
At summer of 2008 I was fortuned to visit with my parents their old childhood homes and old schools. I walked a little way with them and shared their memories of their childhood landscape. I listened to the stories of the ski races, friends, teachers, and buildings. I interviewed and photographed my parents, their memories of 60 years ago.
